Changes to affect small groups (2-99)
Effective January 1, 2017, Coventry will update its prescription drug list (PDL) for all small group plans 2-99.
Members need to be familiar with these changes given a significant number of drugs are no longer covered under the pharmacy benefit plan. Other changes impact quantity limits, cost and authorization requirements.
Coventry will notify affected members of the upcoming changes. Coventry recommends members speak with their physician or healthcare provider if any medications that they take have new requirements.
