After a revised version of Form I-9 was approved in August by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) must publish a revised form by November 22, 2016.
Employers may continue utilizing the current version of Form I-9 (revision date 3/8/2013 N) until January 21, 2017.
After January 21, all previous forms of Form I-9 will be considered invalid.
