The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires employers who issued more than 250 Form W-2s in the prior year to report the cost of employer-sponsored health coverage in Box 12 of the 2022 form. 

This data is for informational purposes only and includes both the employer and employee share of premium. Employers can refer to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) [reporting Q&A](https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/employer-provided-health-coverage-informational-reporting-requirements-questions-and-answers) for more information.
