Private employers with 100 or more employees, and certain federal contractors must annually file an EEO-1 report with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The collection period does not follow a fixed schedule and varies year by year. While exact deadlines for 2025 data have yet to be announced, the EEOC will issue updates on its website as they become available. In recent years the collection period has opened between late April and early May.
Information collected within the EEO-1 report includes workforce demographic data, including by job category, sex, and race or ethnicity.
