Effective July 1, 2022, Aetna will change the Advanced Control-Aetna formulary for all fully insured and self-insured groups. Changes address refill quantities and non-formulary, preferred brand and specialty drug categories.
Members and plan enrollees who will be impacted by a change in their medication will be notified in the upcoming weeks though by mail or email. Plan members can also search Aetna’s Prescription Drug List to explore the list of changes.
