The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will begin accepting 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 data reports on October 31, 2023. Each year private employers with at least 100 employees or more are required to file certain data with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Federal contractors with 50 or more employees are also subject to this requirement. The deadline for filing is December 5, 2023.

Collected data points pertain to workforce demographics, including sex, race and ethnicity. Employers should review EEOC filing specifications before submitting their data. Additional instructions can be found in the 2022 EEO-1 Component Instruction Booklet.
